Hiatus: the sequel
Since my last “vacation” went so well, I figured I would try again.
I am now up in Chapel Hill to visit my girlfriend for our 5 year anniversary. 5 years is a long time, so congratulations to us for beating more than just one of the odds that were already against us.
Aside from just the normal anniversary undertakings that me and my wonderful girlfriend will surely embark on, I do plan to take some of this time to reflect on myself as we move into the new year, and to find ways to maintain a constant level of happiness that leaves me at least partially fulfilled.
Just as the Great George Watsky once said, “Happy’s not a faucet that’ll flow when a handle is turned.” I am still finding all of the contributing factors that lead me to a long happy life.
Wish me luck.
